Hot Water Woes — Free Hybrid Ornament

Another thrill about living in the country, when the hot water heater goes it is a 50 mile round trip to town to get parts. Hubby has made that trip now about 4 times if not more and we still don’t have hot water. It would not be so bad if the water that came out of the faucet were not soooo cold! Last night, I decided I just had to have a bath so got out the big pans and started heating water. This past summer when I did that it took just one batch of heated water to warm the bath water to acceptable levels. Well, last night it took THREE batches of warm water to do it. I expect ice crystals in the water it is sooo cold!
On the positive side, I am not expected to cook. On the negative side, I am not expected to cook. In weather like this a warm meal would really be nice. Of course this happened when we are experiencing the coldest weather we have had in two years.

I hear you about living in the country! I feel your pain. But…the quiet and peacefulness outweigh the drive into town.

Oh I know what you mean about living in the country, electricity goes out, etc. And you are usually one of the last to get repairs done.

Our hot water heater goes out every once in awhile, but dh has only about a 20 min. trip to get the thermocouple replacement (that’s usually what the problem is on our older model). I feel your pain. In weather like this, nothing beats a hot bath or shower and a nice warm meal. Hope it’s fixed real soon.

Its have a find water heater allows in range of multiple heater available have a bath so got out the big pans and started heating water. its making my best wishes in water heater.
