Moving On

Where to start? Yes, I am still here, no I did not drop off the face of the earth.

So I’ve been pretty busy lately with working out bugs at Scrapper’s Zone. I think I’ve found my new love – writing code and making things work with code. Though I’m sure you all could have seen that coming with all I have been talking about it lately. Something else that took up some time was the big move – we finally got my desk out of the living room and into my craft room. Everything is still a mess but the computer is up and the desk is where it is going to stay for at least a year or two! This is one huge baby – I measured it and it is six feet long and a yard wide. My desk drawers go waaaay back. We go it a long time ago when it was sitting out in my aunts front yard. Hubbie rescued it and refinished it and I have been loth to let it go through the years. I’ve seen grown men weep over the thought of moving it. But the secret is to remove all the drawers, tilt it up on hand trucks and treat it like a big set of filing cabinets. Each drawer needs a hand truck, they are so heavy. Now I can sit and look at all my paper stuff and maybe do something with it here in my craft room. The big problem is, there is no table set up yet to craft on. And of course, my desk is already a mess and has no room for craft work. The plan is to sort and give away and throw away until there is room for a table  – I’ve been longing to do some paper layouts lately.

Another item in the ScrappyCats news – I finally broke down and made a grab bag. Well it is my version of a grab bag. I am calling it a rummage sale. I jammed a portfolio full of items for you to rummage through. None of the items are matchy, matchy but all are great items for your layouts.
